Susie Burrus comes from the Admissions Office of the Stanford Graduate School of Business where she reviewed and evaluated prospective students’ applications across industries. She has also worked as a former Admissions Officer for two top national admissions consulting firms. She holds an MBA from Stanford’s GSB and a BA from Stanford in Economics.
Susie is dedicated to helping MBA applicants across all business sectors, including for-profit and nonprofit industries. She has extensive experience, in particular, working with clients in management consulting, technology, and venture capital/private equity. She also has deep experience working with former D1 and D3 varsity athletes.
Susie brings out each client’s unique experiences, motivations and aspirations to create compelling applications framed with self-awareness and other personal qualities important to admissions committees. Susie has a daughter currently attending HBS and a daughter and son who graduated from the GSB and HBS, respectively. She lives in San Francisco.
Prior to advising MBA applicants, Susie spent nearly two decades in capital markets, finance, and real estate including as partner in one of the nation’s most innovative finance and real estate investment organizations. In that role, she led several financings and restructurings, and was actively involved in the founding of two NYSE-listed public corporations.
